join SCFM. Joining is easy!

1. Complete the Membership Registration Form online.

Basic Membership includes:

• A subscription to the Good Muse! newsletter
• Free admission to over 100 member institutions
• Invitations to seminars and workshops co-sponsored by SCFM
• Annual SCFM Membership Directory
• The SCFM Annual Conference, which provides sessions focusing on museum issues and providing important advice for museum professionals
• Plus, Take advantage of the following Special Discounts:
           10% off purchases from The Hollinger Corporation
           15% off purchases from Gaylord Archival Supplies (2% of purchases goes to SCFM)
           15% off purchases through Light Impressions

There are five membership categories within SCFM.

Institutional Membership - applies to all operating or developing museums in South Carolina. Benefits include:

Basic Membership
One vote in elections
One staff member can attend workshops and annual conference

Dues are based on the institution's annual budget:
$25 (under $50,000)
$35 ($50,000 - $100,000)
$50 ($100,001 - $500,000)
$75 ($500,001 - $1,000,000)
$100 (over $1,000,001)

Professional Membership - applies to all museum professionals employed in South Carolina. Benefits include:

Basic Membership
Eligibility to vote and hold office

Dues are:
$15 for staff of institutional members
$20 for staff of non-member institutions

Affiliate Membership - applies to non-museum institutions and organizations, vendors, private museum consultants and out-of-state professionals. Benefits include:

Dues are $25

Associate Membership - applies to museum volunteers and board members. Benefits include:

Dues are $10

Student Membership - applies to all university and college level students. Benefits include:
