Dear present students and graduates of the SC Public History and SLIS
programs:

I just talked to Steve Tuttle, who has excellent news:  the SC DAH will
be expanding its research hours to include Saturdays at the beginning of
2007.  To that end, they will be hiring two new reference staff.  The
jobs will be excellent ones for archival students, or others with an
interest in archival work and research, and are posted on the SC state
Job postings, at www.state.sc.us/jobs/H79/  .  Steve tells me there are
also two jobs in the Historic Preservation office that are also posted
on the same site.
