  This workshop is designed for those who are considering AAM accreditation, are currently involved in the process, or simply want to know more about how the process works.  Panelists will examine the ins and outs of the accreditation process and will discuss topics such as:
   
  1. What programs can help museums prepare for accreditation?
  2. When is a museum ready to begin the application process?
  3. Getting boards members and staff on board. 
  4. General overview of the accreditation process.
  5. Barriers to accreditation.
  6. What to expect from the peer reviewer.
  7. Is accreditation right for your institution?
