color:black'>The South Carolina Federation of Museums is offering scholarships
to attend the 2010 SCFM Conference<em><i><font face="Times New Roman">. </font></i></em>The
conference will present an opportunity for increased networking and
professional development in <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">South
Carolina</st1:place></st1:State>. The 2010 annual conference will be held
March 10-12, 2010 in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Greenville</st1:City>,
<st1:State w:st="on">SC.</st1:State></st1:place> <br>
<br>
The one-time scholarships are available to senior-level undergraduates and
graduate students preparing for careers in museums. New and seasoned museum
professionals are also encouraged to apply. <strong><b><font
face="Times New Roman">Special consideration will be given (but is not limited)
to those attending the conference for the first time or representatives from
the museum's technical and support fields.</font></b></strong><o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p><font size=2 color=black face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:10.5pt;
color:black'>Scholarship winners receive a one-year membership in SCFM and a
$250 stipend, in addition to a waiver of the full conference registration.
Recipients will be recognized at the Annual Awards and Business Meeting held
on Friday, March 12, 2010. <br>
