12:00 till’ 3:00 at the Hagood Mill Historic Site & Folklife Center
Saturday, April 3rd in the Visitor Building. At 1:00, husband & wife duo, <b><span
style='font-weight:bold'>Lucy Allen and <st1:PersonName w:st="on">Marshall Goers</st1:PersonName></span></b>
will perform a concert of traditional, original and folk tunes. Lucy is a
singer / songwriter / guitarist and Marshall is great-pickin’
multi-instrumentalist. At 2:00, Goers will team up with <b><span
style='font-weight:bold'>Phil Garrett and Glen Miller</span></b> (of the
“Fine Art Ramblers”) for a set of blues, swing and ragtime. Goers
and Garrett perform as the <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>“Dusk
Buskers.”</span></b> Opening at 12:00 will be Hagood Mill regulars, SC
Folk Heritage Award winning master fiddler, <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>J.C.
Owens </span></b>and guitarist/singer/entertainer, <b><span style='font-weight:
bold'>Gregg “Buffalo” Barfield.</span></b> Seating is limited and
first come – first served. …there’s nothing like hearing and
seeing great musicians and singers in an intimate, close setting. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
